Approximately 40 HASC swimmers attended the 4 day Christmas Swim Camp this week. The main aim of the camp was to increase swimmers’ fitness and stamina. Most swimmers racked up a phenomenal 28,000 metres over the 4 days.

The Coaches were very impressed; team spirit was high and all the swimmers worked exceptionally hard. This training will stand the team in good stead in their preparation for the Holywell Valentine meet on the 14th and 15th of January and the North Wales Regional champs which takes place in the first 2 weeks of February.

All Holywell swimmers aged 11 and over by the 31st of December 2017, with qualifying times, should be aiming to attend the Regionals.  Both the Valentine meet and Regionals are a priority for the start of the season.
