20 Holywell swimmers travelled to Swansea for the Swim Wales 2025 Summer Nationals, held over 5 days from July 30th to August 3rd. The team was led by coach Lorna Clarke and supported by family and friends who travelled down to support them. A huge thank you to you all!

Holywell took a small team of swimmers to the Swim Wales National Championships, the event was held at the Welsh National pool in Swansea on April 24th to 27th 2025. The swimmers all performed amazingly well and were a credit to our club.

The team arrived at the Wrexham Waterworld venue ready and raring to race, and the team did not disappoint. The team was in an upbeat mood, and it was great to see the camaraderie poolside, cheering each other on and showing brilliant team Spirit.

Feedback from the coaches and team managers was that the team were super supportive of each other, great atmosphere poolside resulted in some great times and multiple PBs across the whole team.

The Holywell team swam at the Swim Wales North Regional Racing Series meet that was held at the Lifestyle Aquatic Centre in Liverpool on the 7th, 8th & 9th February 2025.

On January 25th and 26th the Northern Celts travelled to Sheffield to the Rotherham A&B meet. The meet was held at Ponds Forge’s 50m pool, the home of the British Championships.
